By purchasing our services, you accept these Terms that follow. Please go through them attentively.
Definitions
- “Company” is the term used for Merc Movers, which is situated in Ontario, Canada.
- “Customer” describes a person or a company that uses our relocation services.
- “Service” includes shipping, packing, junk removal, and storage services offered by Merc Movers.
Service Agreement
- When customers select our services, they sign up for these Terms & Conditions to be their guide.
- Prices given are only approximate and can vary depending on the actual time of service, if there are more requests, or some unexpected situations arise.
- Once a quote has been accepted, a booking confirmation will be sent.
Payment & Cancellation
- Payment of the full amount is due during the last hour of the job, unless it is agreed differently in writing.
- We require that you provide a small deposit to reserve your move slot in our calendar.
- If the move is cancelled less than 7 days before the date, a cancellation fee may be charged.
Liability & Claims
- Merc Movers shall not bear the responsibility for any damage that is a result of customer’s improper packing.
- Lost or damaged items along with other claims must be reported no later than 48 hours after a move.
- We limit our liability to the basic insurance plan that is a part of the service unless an extra one is bought.
Prohibited Items
- We don’t ship dangerous materials, drugs, or food that spoils quickly.
- The mover should be informed if there are any delicate or valuable items before the move.
Customer Responsibilities
- Clients are obliged to allow vehicle entry to the loading and unloading spot locations.
- This is to say that if you are not hiring packing services, then you are responsible for packing all your items.
Amendments
Merc Movers have the prerogative of changing the Terms & Conditions posted in this document whenever they want. If you still take advantage of their services, it means you have accepted the revised terms.
