What types of moves does Merc Movers handle?
We are capable of moving residential properties (houses, apartments, condos), commercial businesses/office relocation programs, and Doing the moving of pianos, artwork, antiques, and heavy machinery as well. Moreover, we do offer packing, unpacking, storage, and junk removal services.
Does Merc Movers provide packing materials and packing services?
Indeed. We make available top-of-the-line boxes, bubble wrap, and padding as well as crates for more fragile items. Our personnel can either do all the packing of your things or just pack the fragile/high-value ones.
How do you handle loading, transport, and unloading?
Our professional team carefully loads using standard instruments and techniques. We anchor the products in the vehicle so that they do not move when the transport is underway. At the new site, we unload carefully, place your possessions as per your instructions, and help if you need with the installation of the equipment/accessories.
What if my items get damaged or lost? How does the claims process work?
In the event of damage or loss of your possessions, inform us at the earliest possible time. We will guide you step-by-step through the procedure of filing the claim. Please take pictures or videos of the damage at the time of delivery (before the crew leaves). Our contract defines the claiming procedure, which is also in accordance with the standards of the Ontario moving industry.
